Governor asks principal of Sainik school to rejuvenate school activities
ITANAGAR, September 16: Governor BD Mishra asked the Senior School Commander East Siang Sainik Praveen Kumar Pola and his team to rejuvenate the school’s activities and raise the standard of the school to new heights.
Interacting with the school principal, who called the governor of Raj Bhavan here on Thursday, the governor stressed that after the disruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the principal and his team must now work with zeal and renewed enthusiasm.
He asked the principal to have a good liaison with the state education department and district authorities to accelerate the development of the school’s infrastructure.
The governor advised him to ensure that the cadets, during their schooling at Niglok, Sainik school, acquire the essential qualities of humanism, scientific falsification and the spirit of inquiry and reform.
“Sainik School must prepare its students, among other things, for a career in the defense forces by training them in physical fitness, mental toughness, academic knowledge and esprit de corps. The governor further stated that a healthy social approach and a helping attitude are the main principles on which the personality growth of cadets is to be expressed at Sainik School.
